Video Game selection

Having troubles deciding what game to play for the semester?  I’d recommend taking a look at these roundup of the best games of 2010:

A lot of these games are available through Steam, a quick and easy download and game management tool.  So… you don’t even have to go out to the store to buy a copy, and you can redownload it onto any computer, forever.

If you know of other good lists like this, feel free to reply and post them!

I second Anthony’s suggestion to check out Steam. There’s tons of games available there, including some that are mentioned in Gee’s book that you’ll be reading for Week 2, like Deus Ex.

Steam is also cross-platform (finally), so there are a lot
of Steam games available for Mac, as well. Unfortunately there are
also a lot that aren’t (Deus Ex included), but hopefully as the
Steam client on the Mac matures and picks up steam (no pun
intended) more games will be available on both platforms.
